A murder will put a damper on the Christmas atmosphere the agents are enjoying in the upcoming episode of the long-running CBS series "NCIS: Los Angeles."
In "Cancel Christmas," Spoilers Guide reports that a highway accident occurs, wherein a truck transporting Christmas trees hits a man. When it turns out the victim is already dead before the vehicular incident, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) has been called in to investigate. It appears that the man has been poisoned and they have reason to believe he is also working as a spy for North Korea. As the government deals with the startling discovery, the squad must determine how the Asian communist country is able to smuggle moles to the United States.
Meanwhile, Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) are celebrating their first Yuletide as a couple. After his admission of love in the past episode, it appears that things are going smoothly for them. The fact that they are already planning for the holiday season means Deeks has been released from custody for being a suspect for the murder of his former partner. In episode 10, which will air on Dec. 7, the agent gets arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department's Jacqueline Rivera (Alexandra Barreto).
While one of their own is being interrogated by the authorities, the squad reportedly looks for evidences which can exonerate Deeks from the alleged crime. With the synopsis for episode 11 released, it now looks like NCIS is successful in proving he is innocent. Deeks can then focus on his relationship with Kensi. They are even thinking of a way to include their mothers in their Christmas itineraries. Will there be wedding bells in the future?
Elsewhere, one of the agents is feeling blue. Granger (Miguel Ferrer) does not seem to enjoy the festive vibe the holiday brings. Hetty (Linda Hunt) takes notice and asks him what is wrong. What can be the reason why Granger is sad in the most wonderful time of the year?
"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 7 episode 11 will air on Monday, Dec. 14, at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
