'NCIS: Los Angeles' season 6 episode 12: New explosive spoilers released for new episodes

Could there be more 'Densi' kisses in the upcoming episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 5? Facebook

The midseason finale of "NCIS: Los Angeles" showed exactly what fans were waiting for since day 1: for Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deek (Eric Christian Olsen) to finally give in to their affection for each other.

Yes, Deek and Kensi are finally considering having a relationship outside their work. However, speculations about the soon-to-be official TV couple say that the two may still have to think hard about the possibility of being together, considering their current jobs at the NCIS. They could even have difficulty finding time for each other outside their crime-busting tasks. Nonetheless, it seems like these two have a shot at working things out in their personal relationship, and that's something fans would like to see.

Meanwhile, there are lots of things at stake for the team when "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 6 returns next year.

In the show's 12th episode, which is titled "Spiral," Kensi, Deeks, Sam Hanna (LL Cool J), and G. Callen (Chris O' Donnell) will face an action-packed case. Callen will be particularly affected in the upcoming episode, primarily because of the events that happened during the "Deep Trouble" episodes. The NCIS Los Angeles Special Agent-in-Charge is going to get into trouble as a group of terrorists start to wreak havoc and hold him captive for a while.

The episode synopsis reads: "While Callen is undercover in the mail room of an office building to investigate an arms dealer, it is going to get over taken by terrorists and Callen will become a hostage. When the team arrives to help, they are going to discover the entire building is wired with explosives."

It seems like the show is going to welcome the New Year with a bang, literally.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 6 episode 12 is scheduled to air on Monday night, Jan. 5, on CBS.
