2K Sports has rolled out a new update for its current hoops title "NBA 2K16." However, the update, patch 1.03, took some time to release for all platforms, as the publisher rolled out the new update first on the PS4 and PC versions. Good news, though, is that the patch had now also rolled out for Xbox One players.

The patch for the Xbox One came in a little over 2 GB, noted Design and Trend. The update, aside from bringing improvements to both general and platform-specific areas of the title, also introduced gameplay fixes. According to gameplay director Mike Wang, these gameplay fixes are "significant gameplay fixes for this 3rd patch and my time has been swamped trying to test and balance gameplay before it goes out the door, while also starting new designs and feature work on 2K17."

General gameplay fixes that the new patch introduced include the Flip Saunders patch for the Minnesota Timberwolves uniforms, accuracy-based improvements for classic team uniforms, much improved face scanning results and fixes on the different modes like MyCAREER and MyTEAM.

The full patch notes have been posted by 2K Sports on the official NBA 2K Facebook account.

Meanwhile, aside from the new patch update, new locker codes are also available for hardcore "NBA 2K16" players. According to Vine Report, these locker codes give out different in-game perks such as additional virtual currency, new items, and unlocked gears. One such code is "SHOOTMUCH500," which will give extra 500 VC for players, and typing "#2KTVPOSTSEASON" will give 1,000 VC. The codes will only work for a limited time and should be taken advantage of immediately.

The new codes are a follow-up to an earlier batch of locker codes, released earlier this month. The earlier codes were also only available for a limited time, and instead of in-game perks, they unlocked a number of star players like Michael Jordan, Stephen Curry, and Kobe Bryant.
