When "NBA 2K16" rolls out, fans will not only be able to enjoy playing the game, they will get a massive selection of soundtracks as well.

In a statement released to the press, 2K Sports revealed that the upcoming basketball title will feature the most extensive soundtrack in "NBA 2K" history, and will be curated by three of the most defining genre producers in the music industry – rap and pop producer DJ Mustard, hip-hop collaborator DJ Premier, and renowned producer DJ Khaled. The playlist will include at least 50 tracks, with six of them collaborated on to become title exclusives.

DJ Khaled said of the partnership, "I am honored to collaborate with 'NBA 2K', which is such a distinguished brand and one of my favorite video games. Basketball and music are two of my favorite things, and I'm excited to light up the soundtrack with my signature sound. Expect the hottest tracks and of course hit music when you press the start button on 'NBA 2K16'!"

The soundtrack for "NBA 2K16" will be across music genres, including electronic, hip hop, pop, rock, and alternative; it will also be a diverse collection, featuring tracks and artists ranging from Zedd and Selena Gomez' "I Want You to Know", to The Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop."

The title's playlists will also be extensive, with the different tracks curated for six in-game playlists. There will also be additional soundlists like "Around the World," "2K Classics Mixtape" that lists down track favorites from previous titles, and the master playlist that features all 50 soundtracks.

"NBA 2K16" will come out for the PlayStation 4 and 3, Xbox One and 360, and Windows PC on Sept. 29. Meanwhile, pre-orders for the title already went live, with bonuses such as additional VCs and limited items for the Michael Jordan Special Edition version.
