2K Sports came up with a new patch update for NBA 2K15 meant to fix several issues before the month of March ends.

One of the game studio's gameplay directors, Mike Wang, posted the revisions made on the shooting system of NBA 2K15 in one of the game's dedicated forums on Operations Sports.

"I tuned the baseline [shooting] values that are shared by both human and CPU-controlled players. I also fixed the 'glitched' shots being unable to get perfect release, so that will factor in as well," Wang shared.

This means that the new patch 4 has been made to improve the shoe glitch that fans had long been asking to remove.

The patch update had been released on Xbox One on April 1, while the PC and PlayStation 4 editions already received the April NBA 2K15 update earlier. It includes most of the major fixes for a lot of glitches that were found in the game.

The list of the patch notes for all the consoles include:

  • Fixing the issue wherein the brought and created shoes in the MyPLAYER Store would constantly return to the unpurchased status once the player leaves the menu.
  • After signing a shoe endorsement deal with a shoe manufacturer in MyCAREER, the player's MyPLAYER character can still wear the shoes under that brand.
  • Included several improvements to the progression/regression systems of the player that will keep the player ratings in MyGM/MyLEAGUE/MyCAREER.
  • The rare case where the player's user team would ask for a mid-draft trade during MyGM/MyLEAGUE had been fixed.
  • Took out "auto-hesitation"dribble animations that can be found when players were driving near the defenders.
  • Improve the shot percentages to make the obvious distinction between the covered shots and open shots.
  • Unlock the 'Bruiser' and 'Hardened' badges in MyCAREER when the proper conditions had been made.

The list of other patch inclusions can be found on PlayStation Lifestyle.
