Japanese fans who are anxiously waiting for the last installment in the "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm" franchise will get a treat, as it was reported that a playable demo will be released soon.

According to industry follower Gematsu (from an original Gamestalk report), Bandai Namco has announced that a playable demo will be made available on the PS4 version of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4." However, only Japanese fans will get a first glimpse of the upcoming title as the playable demo will be released in Japan.

Although details are scarce at the moment, global fans are wondering if a playable demo will also make its way to western shores, as the upcoming game is slated for a worldwide release. However, Bandai Namco has not provided any details yet but advises fans to stay tuned as other details will be announced soon.

The Japanese playable demo is the most recent information about localized "Ultimate Ninja Storm" content. Previously, Bandai Namco teased fans about upcoming DLC for the game – a Chinese costume for Naruto and Sasuke. However, this bonus content will only be available for the Chinese versions of the game. Yibada said that the DLC will be available only in China "for the time being," but there were no announcements yet from Bandai Namco if any of the extra content for the title will have global release counterparts.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is the last installment for the franchise. Adapted from the already finished original manga series, the upcoming title will follow Naruto, Sasuke, and other ninjas in the Fourth Great Ninja War as they try to save the world from Uchiha Obito, Madara, and the Ten-Tails.

The title will be released for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on Feb. 4 in Japan and Feb. 9 globally.
