To date, there is no word yet on when Motorola plans to unravel its 4th Generation Moto X smartphone and it's difficult to speculate based on the manner in which previous models were released.

This is largely due to the fact that Motorola has not technically followed a common pattern when it comes to releasing their models. There is a chance that the Moto X 2016 could be out by the summer or spring.

When it comes to pricing, it is possible that it will follow its predecessors which were priced in the vicinity of $400 to $500.

As far as the features of the Moto X 2016 are concerned, the latest leak reveals that the new flagships could be sporting a unibody design.

Images of the possible feature for the awaited flagship recently cropped up at the hellomotoHK Facebook page where a selection of Lenovo prototypes with the patented Moto logo were spotted.

Even though there were a lot of phones on the photos, it is believed that the Moto X 2016 is among them. There are also claims that the said photo has the Moto G 2016 in it as well.

For the design proper, the Moto X 2016 will reportedly be thinner and continue to bear the Motorola "M" logo at the rear of the handset.

One thing that folks may be interested in is whether or not the Moto X could still be in play for the bright colored variants. With the Moto Maker customization, the Moto X has always been included in customizable colors before so hopefully, it continues to do so.

Aside from those leaks, the features that the Moto X 2016 will reportedly offer include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, and a screen display that will not be smaller than five inches.

Those are the only information tied up with the Moto X 2016 for now but hopefully, more updates will come out in the coming months.
