A murder will bring Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell) and his operatives to the world of reality television in the upcoming episode of the TNT series "Major Crimes."

In "Reality Check," TV Guide reports that the team will be sent to investigate a murder case involving married couples in a reality show. A woman is killed during taping and they must find the culprit. The case will reportedly take an emotional toll on Julio Sanchez (Raymond Cruz), as he gets reminded of his late wife. Meanwhile, Rusty Beck (Graham Patrick Martin) will come face-to-face with Slider's (Garrett Coffey) lawyer.

Last episode, Jack Raydor (Tom Berenger) returned to defend a man who was imprisoned for murdering his wife. The criminal wanted to withdraw his original statement that he committed the deed. Sharon and the Major Crimes unit were brought in to reopen the case, as the defendant had a new evidence that would exonerate him. A video from a bar showed the man drinking during the time of the murder. The team also learned that the suspect was there with a woman, who happened to be his wife's sister.

With a new suspect for the case, Jack's client appeared to be a victim of misplaced justice. Sharon suspected that her former husband was gearing for a different path, now that the suspect's name was about to be cleared. In truth, Jack wanted to sue the department for wrongful imprisonment; that was why he withheld the evidence until that time. Had he presented the video early on, his client could have been released from jail sooner.

Back to the victim's sister, she admitted that during the night that her sibling died, she was planning on telling her about the illicit affair. But when she heard the baby crying while standing outside the door, she changed her mind. That the kid was inside the victim's house mystified the detectives, as according to statements, she was supposed to be at her grandmother's house. This led the team to another possible culprit, the victim's mother.

It turned out she did it, as she wanted her daughter to get out of the house. She hated that the victim allowed herself and her son to get beaten up by the husband. She allowed her own child to die because she believed that the latter was not fit to raise her granddaughter. Meanwhile, Jack got fired for letting his client rot in jail all those years.

"Major Crimes" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on TNT.
