The upcoming "Mafia 3" game will feature a New Orleans-inspired city — called the New Bordeaux — and will be set in the year 1968. With the release of the new trailer, fans of the series are hyped more than ever since it featured the weapons gamers can use in "Mafia 3."

According to Game Rant, the weapons are showcased along with Lincoln Clay — the game's protagonist — and the ways he can use the weapons to silence all his enemies. Each and every item on the game is purported to be a precise instrument of destruction, and with this, it seems that players will be given a full arsenal that packs some serious power.

The weapons include sidearms such as pistols to the heavier, more destructive weapons such as rocket launchers, Molotov cocktails, and C4 bombs. Also, the said trailer seems to be hinting that the weapons may be modified in order to increase its deadliness, like upgrading its ammunition with Hollow Point rounds as well as silencers to accomplish the deed more discreetly.

Furthermore, it can be seen that the trailer has a much more different feel to it compared to the other games' trailers. This can be attributed to the fact that Hangar 13 — the developer behind the "Mafia" games — said that the game has a much grittier focus and a much heavier theme, with all the racial and Vietnam War tension prevalent during the time period. It does, however, showcase the strength of the main character, something most fans appreciate.

Meanwhile, Ecumenical News reports that the "Mafia 3" game will also feature a mobile version of the game, called "Mafia 3: Rivals," and it will have a more diverse take on the game. Gamers can rest easy that the characters, events, and various localities in the main "Mafia" game will also be featured in the mobile game. The game is developed by Cat Daddy Games, who also worked on other mobile versions of various 2K games such as "NBA 2K" and "WWE 2K."
