Apple is said to be developing a new MacBook Pro with a complete revamp of its design and technology. According to Christian Times, Apple fanatics are hearing rumors that Apple is creating something with a new external design and impressive internal specifications. Other reports have already stated Apple is planning to discontinue their MacBook Air series so that they can focus more on development of their MacBook Pro. The Air will be relegated to being an entry-level device, while the Pro will become the company's main laptop.

According to University Herald, this new laptop is said to have a Thunderbolt 3 port and a USB Type-C port, an OLED touch bar, and larger RAM and internal storage capacity. There has been no official announcement yet, but the general rumor around the area is that Apple will launch the new MacBook Pro 2016 this month.

Ecumenical News reports other rumors that suggest Apple is already in possession of MiM hinges, which could fit into a new 13-inch MacBook Pro. Apple could also release this device in the third quarter of this year, while the rumored 15-inch version will be released later in the year. Science World Report also mentions a render posted by artist Hajek Martin, known for creating nearly accurate Apple speculations, with renders of a sleek, slimmer MacBook Pro with a high-resultion OLED touchbar. Other rumors suggest that this new laptop might be the first to receive access to the iOS personal assistant application Siri.

They may also just reveal more details on this at Apple's largest yearly event, the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2016, which kicked off June 13. While other rumors have already hinted that no hardware will be announced, a new MacBook Pro for this year might just be a possibility.
