The upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 is now expected to arrive in November 2016. Apple

MacBook Pro fans are speculating that there will be no more delays for its 2016 model. One of its major components, the Kaby Lake processor, has started shipping. All they have to do is sit back and wait for its launching, which is expected when autumn arrives.

Intel has started shipping its Kaby Lake processor to OEMs and system builders. The latest processor is expected to be available to the general public within a couple of months, probably in time for the holiday shopping season. The seventh-generation processor may only offer several upgrades from its predecessor, but it is still an upgrade. Users can expect a boost to its overall speed and graphic capabilities. It is also expected to consume less power, extending the battery life of portable devices a little, Gadgets 360 reported.

Additionally, the Kaby Lake processor will be natively supporting Thunderbolt 3, while previous rumors state that 4K video playback will also be included as one of the improvements to arrive, as well as HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 support and 10-bit HEVC videos.

Aside from a new processor, the MacBook Pro 2016 is also speculated to be slimmer and lighter than before and will arrive with four USB Type-C ports, Touch ID fingerprint recognition and an OLED touch bar right above its keyboard. It is also rumored that it will not be equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and instead will arrive with a Lightning-to-audio port, based on several reports.

Its display screen is also expected to receive some upgrades. It may not be the 4K display as was previously rumored, but an increase with its pixel density, at around 400 ppi (the current model is at 227 ppi).

It may also be offered in several color variants, similar to its 12-inch brother which is now available in gold, space gray and rose gold.

However, nothing is official with regards to the hardware changes on the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016. Fans will have to wait for its arrival, expected to be this November.
