It seems that Apple enthusiasts are getting their hopes up as there are rumors of a purported release date for the upcoming MacBook Air 2016. The subnotebook computer will allegedly be launched next month.

According to the University Herald, with the advent of the new MacBook Air 2016, the device has undergone a major modification process in terms of its internal specs. Comparing it with the previous model, a lot of tech enthusiasts agree that the new MacBook Air's specs will leave its predecessor's in the dust.

It might be sudden for news about a release date, but the rumors are not groundless. After all, another Apple event will be held next month, so it could be possible that the much-awaited Apple MacBook Air will be revealed by that time, along with the company's top-tier handsets as well as other ultra-portable computers. This is despite the recent rumors of the MacBook Air line being canceled, as many fans are still hoping for the tech giant to give it one more try.

Furthermore, should the new MacBook Air be revealed at the Apple Event, it is speculated to have top-tier qualities, which will include a slimmer, thinner profile, as well as a 5k display capability.

However, while the overwhelming amount of clues have started pointing out that the product is to be released soon, Apple has yet to give any comment about the upcoming revamp of the MacBook Air.

According to the Vine Report, Apple is still keeping mum about the actual date of the October technical event. After all, their recently concluded event revealed the new Apple Watch and the iPhone 7, as well as the newest version of the iOS. Fans remain hopeful that other anticipated devices like the Apple MacBook Air 2016 will be revealed once the event takes place next month.
