London Eye New Year's 2016 Fireworks live stream free, best viewing spots: Watch New Year 2016 From London online today (Start time)

The year is about to close and now it is time to look out for the annual fireworks display, a tradition that folks will surely be looking forward to.

For those who were unable to get their tickets, well, you may just have to console yourselves by watching the New Year's Eve extravaganza via another way.

Event tickets have been sold out for the event which will be once again held at the River Thames opposite the Houses of Parliament. Lucky folks who were able to secure tickets are in for a treat of music up to midnight before the actual countdown starts.

The event is expected to finish by 12:15 a.m. after the 10-minute fireworks display but due to the expected large turnout, folks are likely to be caught up in their way trying to reach a tube station.

The viewing areas will depend on the color of their tickets folks carry. For those who are unaware, the viewing area is printed on the ticket. But do take note of the best time to arrive below:
• North Bank –Blue and Red (suggested arrival time: 7 to 9:30 p.m.)
• South Bank –White and Green (suggested arrival time: 8 to 10:30 p.m.)
• Waterloo Bridge – Pink (suggested arrival time: 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.)

It would be best to take note as well that ticket holders who arrive past the suggest time enumerated above will be refused entry.

For those who were unable to get tickets or have no business over there, it may be best to avoid the area after 5 p.m.

All is not lost though for the ones who were unable to secure tickets. Prime locations around Primrose Hill will have smaller displays for live viewing.
For those who prefer to watch the event via live stream, official websites of national news channels, YouTube will be providing live stream of the event.
