LG has announced that its upcoming V series phone, dubbed the LG V20, will be featuring a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC that will greatly enhance the audio experience. The smartphone is scheduled to be launched on Sept. 6 in San Francisco.
Audio aficionados are looking forward to the upcoming LG V20. The company said that its next phone will be equipped with the latest digital-to-analog converter that will be able to deliver a high quality of audio. Its 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, produced by ESS Technology, will give out crisp and clear sound such that its listeners will think that they are present during a live performance. The audio chip maker provided a similar Hi-Fi DAC on the phone's predecessor, the V10, according to the announcement.

Meanwhile, Android Authority reported the first rendered images of how the LG V20 might look like. The images were provided by @Onleaks, a reliable leakster. Based on the image, there is a big possibility that a module release button will be located on its right side, as well as a bottom lip that could be removable. Both features are similar to the modular LG G5, but there is no confirmation that the V20 will be modular as well.
The front of the rendered LG V20 image features a ticker-tape secondary screen that is above the main screen and it also shows a very thin side bezel . On the back, the dual-camera lens system is prominently bulging, while a finger print scanner is directly below it.
The LG V20 will be unveiled at a press event scheduled on Sept. 6 in San Francisco.
