In a matter of weeks, the highly anticipated Nexus 5 2015 is expected to be revealed and that could happen at the planned Google event which will be held in San Francisco. The event has, however, not yet been confirmed by Google, according to Talk Android.

The event is seen as the one that will finally unveil the two variants of the new Google Nexus 5 2015 handset, one coming from LG and the other from Huawei.

If you have been following the rumor mill, the LG Nexus 5 2015 will reportedly be known as the LG Nexus 5X. The LG variant will come with two built-in storage variants. There is the 16 GB version which will cost about $399 and the 32 GB variant reportedly priced at about $449.

Assuming that the two devices do debut by the end of the month, pre-orders will reportedly start two weeks after. Oct. 13 is the date seen when pre-orders for the LG and Huawei Nexus 5 2015 will commence, although another concern could be the actual shipping date.

Based on previous transactions, shipping usually takes one to three weeks after pre-orders are taken. But do remember that all these are not confirmed. There is a chance that Google could make the device available on the day of the launch itself.

With regards to the actual design of the upcoming device, the Android Pit has revealed new images of the alleged Google Nexus 5 2015. An image shows the backside of the device with the fingerprint sensor on top of it.

Among the features that the Nexus 5 2015 offers is a 13-megapixel OIS camera as well as a dual LED flash and laser autofocus feature by the left side.

Could more (and actual) features of the said device be finally revealed on Sept. 29?
