'Kingdom Hearts 3' release date news: will E3 2016 showcase trailer featuring new Disney World?

 Square-Enix

"Kingdom Hearts 3" has been keeping fans in a constant state of suspense ever since it was announced. While the release date of the game is still unannounced, a report from News Everyday said that Square Enix will likely reveal a brand-new game trailer for this game at the E3 2016 which could feature an exciting feature players will surely love -- a new Disney World.

While the company still hasn't confirmed this, the fact that they will be attending the Electronic Entertainment Expo event in Los Angeles could very well indicate the trailer's imminent release. After all, the purpose of Square Enix's attendance at one of the biggest events in the gaming industry is to give more details on the games they're developing.

As such, fans are expected to see more of the game's highlights once the trailer is released. According to the University Herald, while there's still no official information of this rumored trailer, fans speculate that the main protagonist, Sora, will meet new companions from various Disney Worlds such as "Tangled" and possibly "Big Hero 6." Furthermore, it could feature a bit of the gameplay's mechanics. But most of all, fans are hoping that this trailer will finally reveal the game's official release date.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is supposed to be the conclusion of this epic series. As such, players new to the game could find it a little disheartening, especially once they get a glimpse of the sheer number of levels the game could offer. In any case, Master Herald reports that the game will have a similar game play to its predecessor, "Kingdom Hearts 2," as well as some elements from "Dream Drop Distance," which could possibly include the "Drop" system to switch between characters.
