Kevin Durant advises not to trust free agency rumors for coming season

Kevin Durant is expected to be the hottest commodity after the 2015–16 NBA season, so expect a lot of wild-spread rumors plaguing the former NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) when he springs back into action.

Such trend is only to be expected. For someone who is as popular as the likes of LeBron James or even Kobe Bryant, many analysts, fans and bloggers are bound to come up with wildest trade scenarios for the current OKC Thunder star.

And this early, Durant is putting everyone on notice — don't trust free agency rumors.

According to Durant, only he and his agent and manager will know the real score and his actual plans. But with his contract still alive, it doesn't look like Durant has any plans of thinking about it until the coming season comes to an end.

Durant is expected to be back in harness after a foot injury grounded him for most of last season. Although he has yet to rough himself up for the coming season, his main concern is to play ball for the coming season as he tries to sync in with the Thunder's new head coach Billy Donovan.

Aside from Durant, the names of Charlie Bell and Rich Kleiman are bound to be tied up at some point of rumors for the coming season. But the thing is, don't expect their names to be immediately pinpointed. Just like from previous rumors, they will most likely be tagged as 'according to anonymous sources' or something like that just to get folks to read on their pieces.

It may be low but is a practice. To avoid being misled and frustrated with false reports, Durant is sticking his foot out and telling fans not to believe everything they read, especially if they are from anonymous sources, and to wait for official world from Durant and his two confidants.
