Justin Bieber says human distractions sometimes keep him from feeling God's presence

Canadian pop star Justin Bieber is struggling to improve his relationship with God, especially since he admittedly has many things that are keeping him from growing properly as a child of God.

On his Instagram account (@justinbieber), the singer posted a photo which reads, "I don't always feel God's presence, I feel it may be human distractions or maybe I'm letting lies [keep] me from accessing it. Regardless, it doesn't stop me from seeking. Although it is frustrating, I'm reminded that relationships take work, even with God!"

He posted another photo that he captioned, "I'd rather be lonely than to hang out with just anyone to not feel lonely. They have to be awesome or I'm Netflix and chill."

Bieber was not yet through with his reflections. A week later, he posted yet another message voicing his inner thought. "It's crazy how some people don't even question or ponder the reason for their existence and are okay going through the motions. We don't live to die. We have purpose and meaning!" he wrote.

The "Love Yourself" crooner then urged people to step outside of their comfort zone by asking their friends what the true meaning of life is, and contemplating the purpose of one's life.

"I'm not saying you have to believe the same thing I believe, but at least have the discussion," he clarifies. "Sometimes it can be scary opening yourself up to what can come from these conversations, and I think it can be easier sometimes to just avoid and not think about it. But I think it's worth it!"

The pop star was recently criticised after he was caught acting bratty during his Friday night Purpose tour stop in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Fans kept throwing gifts at him on stage, which angered the singer.

"Take this moment to listen and try not to give me a hat or whatever you're trying to throw onto the stage right now," Bieber said, according to a video taken by a fan, "because I probably don't want that [expletive]."

However, Bieber was quick to apologise, saying, "Sorry, that was mean. But I lost what I was trying to say. I was deep in the zone, now I'm out of it."
