Jane (Gina Rodriguez) is looking for a competent babysitter for Mateo in the upcoming episode of the hit CW series "Jane the Virgin."

In "Chapter Twenty-Nine," TV Guide reports that she and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) will agree that it is best to hire a nanny for their son. The decision may have stemmed from the doctor's diagnosis last episode that Mateo has a flat head due to staying on his back for long period of time. Jane was saddened that her graduate studies were taking so much of her time that she has been neglecting the baby of late. Mateo even has to wear a helmet to correct his deformed head.

While Jane and Rafael both feel that a babysitter will be of great help, finding one is proving to be difficult. It is not that there is a shortage of capable nannies. It is because of Jane's high standards. After all, with her away from graduate school all the time, she needs to entrust Mateo's care to someone she finds reliable. Moreover, her son is no ordinary kid, as he stands to get $40 million from his trust fund. But with her high expectations, will Jane be able to hire anyone soon, especially now that her school work is not working out as planned?

Last episode, Jane met her hot but grumpy English professor, Jonathan Chavez (Adam Rodriguez). They did not exactly hit it off at first meeting, as Jane was late due to an emergency change of outfit care of Mateo. Jonathan flat out told her that he was not there to help her finish her novel, but to help her grow as a writer. After getting a C for a work she really thought merited a higher mark, Jane was becoming depressed. The synopsis for the next episode reveals that she will even try to find a writing adviser. Will her hard work pay off soon?

"Jane the Virgin" season 2 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
