In the upcoming Season 3 of iZombie, Major could be helping out Liv and Detective Babineaux in solving crime because of his ability to see visions from the brains he eats.
According to iZombie lead star Rose McIver, show creator Rob Thomas himself confirmed that he will have the same abilities as Liv so this new development could help the Seattle police get to bottom of more crimes.
"The last thing that I've heard from him is that Major is gonna be taking on characteristics from brains as well," McIver said in a TVLine interview.
The third season is also bound to be more interesting because more zombies who are masquerading as humans will also be adopting different personalities as well.
Meanwhile, shippers of Major and Liv may finally be getting the reunion they have been asking for after Rob Thomas confirmed that six out of 10 plotlines being floated by Entertainment Focus is confirmed to happen in the third season.
He however, did not say which of the plotlines will happen.
Aside from a possible rekindling of the romance between the two, now that they are both zombies again, the article posted the possibility of a bigger role for Aly Michalka, who has recently been promoted to series regular.
It would also be interesting to see Blaine get his memory back after taking the zombie cure and becoming an amnesiac in the process.
The brewing conflict between Liv and Vivian may also come to head this season since it has been stewing for a while with Vivian wanting a full zombie infestation in Seattle and Liv going the opposite direction.
Babineaux learning about Liv's secret may also mean that he could be drawn deeper into the mix.
While there are rumors that Ravi will turn into a zombie next season, there is a strong possibility that he will remain human after all since he provides the balance in the story. Besides, Major and Liv are already zombies.
The CW has yet to announce the official release date of iZombie Season 3 but it is expected to air in the fall if follows its previous airing schedule.
