Apple's rumor mills are starting to go into overdrive once again with speculations about the alleged release of a smaller version of the bestselling iPhone 6, dubbed as the iPhone 6s.
Based on rumors posted by AppleInsider, the next model of the iPhone will have a dual-lens array that caters to the photo-savvy crowd. This information reportedly comes from the company's supplier from Asia, which happens to be one of the most credible sources of information about Apple products.
This will be the first time that Apple will incorporate a dual-lens camera system that has an optical zoom feature to one of its products. Accordingly, the camera mode of the alleged iPhone 6 will be given a new design that will come with several upgrades to its low-light capturing capacity.
It comes as no surprise if the Cupertino-based tech firm is indeed concentrating on imaging technology products since the cameras in their handheld devices are widely popular for their superb performance.
Also, there are reports saying that the smaller, 4.7-inch version of the iPhone 6 will come with the new Force Touch feature that uses a pressure-sensitive touch system technology. This new exclusive feature from Apple will allegedly debut with the Apple Watch, said to be launched this year. The said technology can allow the device to distinguish the amount of pressure that the user applies in touch commands, which could then be translated to varied input commands.
But in a rumor posted by Stabley Times, a source was claiming that the Cupertino tech giant is now thinking twice about launching the Apple Watch in spring of 2015 if it will not be launched with a new iPhone.
Some of the speculations about the release date of the alleged iPhone 6s claim that the product will be launched in September 2015, one year after the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in September 2014.
