The Apple iPad Air 3 has been on the waiting list for quite a time now. Numerous product launching events have happened but there is still no sign of the alleged tablet. Now, it is speculated that it may finally arrive either this October be released in November.
There are many speculations about the iPad Air 3. Many fans were disheartened when Apple launched the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, which is of a similar screen size . It was immediately thought that that was the end for Air series. However, many Apple enthusiasts do not need all the goodies in the smaller iPad Pro, and all they want is 9.7-inch tablet that would supplement their other gadgets.
It is now rumored that the Apple will still release the iPad Air 3, which is a cheaper alternative to the iPad Pro. It is also speculated to launch in October, on which month the iPad Air 2 was launched back in 2014, and that it will be launching together with is smaller brother, the iPad mini 5. Unfortunately, this may also be the last Air tablet of the series, Vine Report stated.
Going to the technical details, it is speculated to be featuring a A9X chipset and paired with a 4GB RAM. It could also feature an IPS LCD screen that offers a 2048 x 1536 pixel screen resolution and an 8MP iSight camera. Internal storage is said to come in three variants, 16GB, 64GB and 128GB.
Other rumors suggest that it could also come with a Smart Connector, four speakers, a high-resolution display screen and a flash on its main camera. However, this would make it even closer to the specs of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, which could suffer tremendously.
Meanwhile, PC Advisor has reported that if the product will launch by October, it could be made available by the following month. The publication also stated that Apple will still release the tablet so it will not leave a price gap in its tablet range.
Fans still have high hopes that the iPad Air 3 will soon arrive, even if there are no leaks connected to the device, which is uncommon for gadgets.
