The new device is also expected to have a better camera and 3D touch.

A report by the IBTimes indicated that some EBay sellers are even selling the 128GB Apple iPad Air 2 Retina for $449.99 from an original price of $699.99.

While the seller describes the item as an open box item, it is still categorized as brand new with a one year warranty.

The report hinted that there is a seeming urgency to unload the stocks to perhaps accommodate new products, believed to be the new iteration of the device before the end of the year.
