Apple has just released its newest platform, iOS 9, for its mobile devices. However, although the Cupertino-based company is placing more stringent measures to secure its software against hacks, some rumors say that different teams are already trying to crack the code of the latest iOS in order to come out with a jailbreak version of the iOS 9.
The rumors of Pangu, TaiG, and other jailbreak development teams already cracking iOS 9 seem to have some merit. The new platform, although released just this week, has already been out of the Cupertino-based company's labs since June. While the early releases were still in beta forms, jailbreak developers may have quickly used those early versions as a base on which to build the final version of a jailbreak iOS 9 file.
However, it seems that Apple is becoming more astute about the ways of the jailbreak teams. The previous iOS platform, 8.4.1, was updated with rigorous and inflexible security measures and it took some time for the jailbreak teams to decipher it. Although different jailbreak teams have announced that they already have a jailbreak iOS 8.4.1 on hand, users and fans of jailbreaks still have to see the said file. The jailbreak developers are apparently still mulling over whether to release this version or go straight to breaking the official iOS 9 instead.
Apple, on the other hand, has already taken steps to ensure integrity of their newest platform. According to reports, the company has released a new knowledge base document, highlighting the security content for the newest update. Some of the entries in the KB document pointed out that Apple has patched another flaw in its software to defend it against jailbreaks, as it was hinted that the security flaw was discovered by no less than the PanguTeam and TaiG Jailbreak Team, which were credited in the KB.
