iOS 9.2 beta 3 launched to public beta testers and developers

Aside from the celebrated Touch ID issue, there have not been a lot of complaints heard on the iOS 9.1.

Hence, it may be safe to say that iOS 9.2 could come out with minor revisions, although it may depend what the recently released iOS 9.2 beta 3 brings.

Apple recently released the iOS 9.2 beta 3 version for people who have enrolled in the public beta and Apple developer programs.

The second version of iOS 9.2 beta was released recently and developers may have to work overtime to get the third version soon. The iOS is something that can already be installed on Apple devices such as the iPhone, iPod, and iPad.

A lot of the new features were already out in the second beta version. That included a new Safari View Controller, support for NumberSync service from AT&T, and Arabic support for Siri.

A look at the changes for the beta 3 version doesn't show much of change so it will be interesting what new stuff were done with this one.

But aside from that, there could be some hackers out there who could be hard at work trying to jailbreak the latest OS update from Apple. As we speak, there are alleged jailbreaks for the iOS 9 and iOS 9.1 available with the aid of the TaiG 9 beta tool, although registered developers are the only ones who can get it for now.

Aside from that, an iOS 9.2 jailbreak is already reportedly in the works and the word around is that such could be out before the year ends.

With that said, it carries on the expected cat-and-mouse game as far as jailbreaking the latest iOS is concerned. If in the event that the said iOS 9.1 jailbreak is out, expect Apple to come up with a patch as well.

The same holds true for the iOS 9.2 which is likely being tested by the same folks trying to jailbreak the previous versions. With iOS 9.2 beta out, this version is most probably the one Pangu will be trying to crack.
