iOS 10 jailbreak release date, update: Pangu still not ready to launch jailbreak tool?

The jailbreak community initially believed that Pangu would be ready with a tool once iOS 10 was released. The group previously showed an iOS 10 device running Cydia at a tech event in China a few months ago, but up until now, there is still no word about it the final output.

Apple has recently stopped signing iOS version 9.3.5. This means individuals who have upgraded their devices to iOS 10 cannot go back any longer. They are now stuck with the current version, and the only option is to upgrade to the next release. Additionally, the tech giant also stopped signing iOS 10.0.1, which means that devices that are currently running on the iOS 10.0.3 version can only go back a single version, 10.0.2.

This development does not create a huge impact for owners of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, they came right out of the box with iOS 10 installed. For older phone users, it could create some problems if a jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3.5 arrives, although it may not happen. Nevertheless, they are looking forward to an iOS 10 jailbreak tool, but they are also worried at the same time. It has been more than a month and there is still no news if one will arrive soon.

However, there is still hope for this to happen. It has been demonstrated by Luca Todesco, also known by the name of qwertyoruiop, that the latest version is hackable. His last video that was posted a month ago is another demonstration that the latest iOS version can be conquered with a tool called Yalux and that it is designed to work on Arm64 Apple devices. These devices are the once that contain an A7 or higher processor. Prior to this, when the latest iOS was still in the beta 8 version, he also demonstrated another jailbreak session with Yalux.

It remains unclear if Todesco is sharing his achievements with other groups such as Pangu, who is a permanent fixture within the jailbreak community. But it remains unknown if they are cooking up something for their fans. According to rumors, a tool may arrive once Apple releases iOS 10.1.
