Indiana Pacers rumors 2015: Paul George gets fined again for criticizing game officials

Paul George was recently in the headlines, hitting at the officiating yet again.

After complaining about how game officials were calling it in the Indiana Pacers' loss against the Toronto Raptors, the comeback All-Star forward was at it again.

This time around, George was complaining about the disparity in fouls called against the Pacers. He publicly complained about game officiating yet again after their 104–97 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

Considering they won and saw George turn in good numbers, it was his seven turnovers during the game that was glaring. And as expected, he drew another hefty fine of $35,000 for his troubles and his second one for the season.

He was fined $10,000 for that rant he made earlier in the season and the amount could escalate more if he continues with his bickering. Could it lead to a suspension?

Unless NBA Commissioner Silver picks off from that threat made by his predecessor (David Stern) back in 2010 via NBA.com, it could be in the cards. At that time, Stern threatened to make suspension if the complaints against game officials would not stop.

From some who is usually cool and composed, George has somehow become touchy when it comes to officiating. Could it be because of his new role of playing against bigger men?

George is technically taking on a new role as he tries to fit into the power forward position, something that he isn't accustomed to and something that means he has to deal with bigger and tougher power forwards in the league.

George will, of course, not admit such but for his sake, he may want to keep his criticism on game officials to himself and not to media. His fines are piling up so he may just want to make the adjustments to the calls made on him and the Pacers.
