This new season of ABC's "How to Get Away with Murder" is proving to be a doozy for the show's loyal fans as they try to figure out who is the latest casualty of the show after the fire at Annalise's house.

As a matter of fact, even the cast of the show was kept in the dark about who is really under that sheet even as they taped the episodes.

"I don't think it's safe to assume that anyone is going to make it out alive. We filmed most of the season so far without knowing who it was, which is definitely a difficult thing in some ways," Matt McGorry — who plays Asher — confided.

True to their word that the show will rule out one character each week as the person under the body bag, the list lengthened this week as Laurel (Karla Souza) was revealed as the person who was saved from the fire. It also turned out that she was pregnant, further complicating matters and the sense of urgency for her to find Frank (Charlie Weber), iTechPost reported.

It can be recalled that in the previous episode, Laurel had to swallow her pride and approach her father for help in tracking down Frank but in exchange, her father had her sign a document that could possibly get her in legal trouble.

Showrunner Peter Nowalk also promised to explore the backstory of how Frank met Sam (Tom Verica) and Annalise (Viola Davis) which could provide some context into his fierce loyalty to the two characters that has compelled him to break the law and even kill people to repay his debts, reported  Hall of Fame.

While Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) — who has been ruled safe along with Bonnie (Liza Weil) in the season's first episodes – and Connor (Jack Falahee) have called it quits, there may be hope that the couple would get back together, according to a report by Hall of Fame Magazine.

After his failure in the romance department with Rebecca (Katie Findlay), as well as witnessing his father murdered in front of him, Wes (Alfie Enoch) may find comfort in a new love named Meggy (Corbin Reid).

In a tweet, Nowalk teased that they may be building a love triangle among Laurel, Wes, and the newcomer by asking fans whether they were Team Laurel or Team Meggy.
