With the identity of the casualty set to be revealed in the midseason finale of "How to Get Away with Murder," fans are already hedging their bets on who the person who perished in the fire at Annalise's house could be.

The options were ruled out one by one as the season progressed, and only two characters are not safe. Curiosities have been piqued in the premiere after Annalise (Viola David) almost broke down when she found out who was under the sheet as paramedics rolled out the dead body in the first episode of season 3, Parent Herald reported.

So far, Oliver (Conrad Ricamora), Bonnie (Liza Weil), Laurel (Karla Souza), Mikaela (Aja Naomi King), Asher (Matt McGorry), Wes (Alifie Enoch), and Connor (Jack Falahee) have been revealed safe. Now only Nate (Billy Brown) and Frank (Charlie Weber) are the possible options.

In the latest promo for the episode, Frank was shown holding a gun and about to take his own life. It also showed Annalise and Bonnie distraught, while Nate was shown wearing a suit in front of what appeared to be the front door of Annalise's house.

Weber promised that the midseason finale will be "big, rough and very sad." The actor also gave some insight into the state of mind of his character, and the possibility that he could be the person under the sheet after all.

"I don't think he's lost the will to live. I think the willingness to do that is if it will please Annalise. I don't think he wants to die — he wants her to want him to live. I think it's a need to be with Annalise and Bonnie to bring that family back together. With Bonnie having pushed him out, he needs a lifeline, he needs help. That was his lowest point when Bonnie throws him out. That's why he also went to Laurel — he's throwing straws and trying to find a lifeline," he explained.

After a heated altercation between Annalise and Nate, it is also possible that the cop could be the casualty under the sheet. The good news is that all will finally be revealed when "How to Get Away with Murder" airs its midseason finale on Thursday, Nov. 17.
