Holly Holm vs. Ronda Rousey fight rumors 2016: Chuck Liddell offers to train former UFC women's champion

Ronda Rousey will need all the help she can get if she is to return successfully against Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Holly Holm.

Right now, Rousey isn't tied up with any serious training to remedy the shortcomings she had back at UFC 193 in November 2015. Rousey fell to the Australian and former boxer, using a game plan that totally blew up in her face.

Trainer Edmond Tarverdyan took the bulk of the heat for that loss, something that went as far as drawing the ire of Ronda's mother, AnnMaria De Mars.

But even in the middle of all that, there was one who believed that Tarverdyan did a pretty good job, although there could be improvements if Rousey was willing.

Chuck Liddell, a former light heavyweight champion who retired in 2010, believes the Tarverdyan has done a good job at developing the striking skills of Rowdy but adds that she may need to take it to the next level, especially against a professional striker.

"I'll train her anytime she wants," said Liddell via the Bloody Elbow. The former champion could be a big help to the former champion's cause if a fight does happen in November as per Dana White's call.

With Rousey taking some time off to fulfill her film commitments, Holm will be busy making her first title defense this March.

She will take on Miesha Tate at UFC 196, one of the co-main events at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Holm will need a different fight plan against Tate since they are two different fighters. She also needs to deal with the fact that she has to come out of that one as the champion against an unpredictable Tate.

A loss by Holm could waylay the UFC's plans for that much awaited rematch, something that White calls as another one for the UFC history books.
