Netflix has yet to lock in a premiere date for "Hemlock Grove" season 3 but there are already reports that the new chapter of the hit horror thriller adaptation will start before this year ends, contrary to speculations that it won't be available to binge on until next year.

The show is a retelling of Brian McGreevy's debut novel of the same name. However, according to Crossmap, there will be certain aspects in the book that the Netflix original series will not follow. That said, even those who read the tome published back in 2012 won't know what's next for the adaptation.

While no further information was provided regarding these alleged alterations, there are details on how the cast dynamics changes in "Hemlock Grove" season 3. New cast members are making an entrance. First is Richard Gunn, who will play the role of the eccentric and creepy Aitor Quantic.

Camille de Pazzis was also tapped to portray Annie, who is described as "a mysterious and kind old soul masquerading in a young body who has close ties to the Godfrey family." Pazzis will be a series regular in season 3. She will join original cast Landon Liborion as Peter Rumancek, Famke Janssen as Olivia Godfrey, Bill Skarsgard as Roman Godfrey and Joel de la Fuente as Dr. Johann Pryce.

"We are looking forward to taking the last and final season into some dark and unexpected places, and to giving viewers the killer finale you'd come to expect from Hemlock Grove," executive producer Eli Roth told The Hollywood Reporter.

Netflix original programming VP Cindy Holland said that fans can expect "a riveting and mind-bending conclusion to complete the series."

"Hemlock Grove" season 3 will get 10 episodes. There's no word as to when it will premiere exactly but it is expected to become available this year.
