Has Jessa turned her back on her brother Josh Duggar after Ashley Madison exposé?

Jessa Seewald from the now cancelled show "19 Kids and Counting" firmly stood by the side of her brother Josh Duggar when he was accused of molesting five underage girls, including herself and their sister Jill, when he was only 14 years old.

However, it seems Jessa has turned her back on her brother after he has been exposed as having cheated on his wife Anna by his admitted paid membership to the adultery website Ashley Madison.

Interviewed by Megyn Kelly for "The Kelly File" show before the latest scandal broke out, Jessa said: "I do want to speak up in his defence against people who are calling him a child molester or a paedophile or a rapist. Josh was a boy, a young boy in puberty, and a little too curious about girls. He made some bad choices, but really, the extent of it was mild."

But now, Jessa appears to be in no mood to defend her brother again. Instead, she recently posted messages on her social media account apparently critical of her brother's shocking hidden lifestyle.

She posted on her Instagram account (@jessaseewald) a photo of John Piper's sermon entitled "The Passions that Prevent Adultery" and she even encouraged her followers to listen to it or read the transcript of the sermon.

Then on her Twitter account (@JessaSeewald), she urged people to "go to http://seewalds.com and read the post on the Ashley Madison scandal."

The post was written by Jessa's father-in-law Michael Seewald entitled "Grief, Shame, and Taking the Lord's Name in Vain," and in it, he condemned Josh and his actions.

"The thing that is so hurtful is that he was a loud voice endorsing Christian ethics and he has been shown to be a fraud," Michael wrote about Josh's job with the Family Research Council. "I am profoundly grieved that he attained such a platform only to bring shame on God's holy name and the Christian faith. After hearing of Josh's scandal when he was a teenager, I publicly stated that Josh appeared to be a changed man, was walking above reproach, and living out the faith that he professed. I stood in solidarity, encouraging him to use the scandal to build humility and grace. Sadly, he had deceived us all. The name of God has been blasphemed and God is jealous for his name," Michael Seewald said.

He cautioned people that Josh is a pretender and that people should not look at him to justify their own sins.
