"Half-Life 3" is one of the most anticipated games as of now, and a lot of fans are waiting for the game's release. Some reports say that Valve might be considering the game's release sometime in 2018. Another reason that could be attributed to the release is the fact that the first "Half-Life" game was released back in 1998 for the PC.

According to Game N Guide, Valve has always been mum about the development of the upcoming game "Half-Life 3." After all, throughout the years there has been no official announcements made pertaining to the game's development.

However, some leaks suggest that the company is well under the development of the "Half-Life 3" game.

Some very eager code detectives have been searching for hints about the game's development. After some time, it seems that they came up with interesting new snippets of code that would provide a clue as to the game's existence. This piece of evidence was found in the recent update of the game "DotA 2," where it contains the code "HLVR."

Automatically, fans assumed that it meant "Half-Life Virtual Reality," and if it turns out to be the truth, fans will certainly think that the wait was worth it. A "Half Life" game with Virtual Reality support certainly offers a brand new experience for the game, and with Valve and HTC working on the anticipated titles, fans are expecting that the game will be incredibly interesting.

Regardless, Yibada reports that there is still no confirmation when it comes to a definite release date, but fans are still pretty hopeful that the "Half Life 3" game will be released.

This is due to the fact that the game is still regarded as one of the greatest games ever made globally, and its large fanbase still waiting for the next game proves to be a testament of this fact.
