Gaming outlets now assume that game developer Valve has either abandoned the task of crafting the new title for the science fiction video game or they are simply having a hard time going through with it. Whatever it may be, it seems that the company has no plans of clearing that out any time soon. It may even be that Valve has no plans to do that at all. "Half Life 2" is now seven years old. Yet, the rollout of a fresher one remains absent or far off from Valve's cards.

However, Air Herald says that the problem lies here. With the dearth of innovative features fit to inject into the game, Valve may be planning to wait until something comes. But worse, Valve has given up finding or concocting one. In short, the company is pressured to live up to the standards it set when it released its previous titles.
