 Rockstar Games

Players of "Grand Theft Auto V" will have something new to explore next week, as developer Rockstar Games announced the release date of the second part of the "Ill-Gotten Gains" update for its online title. According to the studio's announcement, "Ill-Gotten Gains Part Two" will arrive on all platforms on July 8, bringing fresh new content to "GTA V Online."

Like the first "Ill-Gotten Gains" update, the second part will also focus on luxurious and extravagant new items that players can splurge on, including new clothes and high-end vehicles. There will also be a cache of new weapons to be made available for gamers.

For those playing "GTA V" because of its massive list of automobiles, new vehicles include the Progen T20 Supercar, SUV Coild Brawler, and custom-plated Vapid Chino. There will also be a new Dinka Vindicator Superbike and Invetro Coquette BlackFin model, as well as an additional Lampadati Toro speedboat.

Meanwhile, two new weapons will also be added to the "Grand Theft Auto V" arsenal – the engraved Marksman pistol and Knuckledusters. In addition, there is a host of new clothing items and accessories that players can purchase from the numerous high-end boutiques dotting Los Santos.

"GTA Online Ill-Gotten Gains Update: Part 2" will also introduce PlayStation and Xbox players to The Lab radio station, which was a PC-exclusive feature some time ago. In addition, Rockstar Games is also planning to kick off the release of the second update by having a new Social Club Event weekend on July 10.

Aside from announcing the release of the second chapter to the "Ill-Gotten Gains" update, Rockstar Games also hinted at a possible return of last year's Independence Day Special. For a limited time, items in-game will be offered at reduced rates, especially the crowd-favorite Firework Rocket Launcher.
