 Rockstar Games Newswire

Hardcore players for the online multiplayer content of "Grand Theft Auto V" are in for a surprise, as currently ongoing is Rockstar Game's another event aimed at additional treats for loyal fans of the title.

"Grand Theft Auto Online" is currently holding a Lowriders Week event for its most recent DLC expansion, Lowrider.

Players can take advantage of lowered prices for their lowered vehicles. When players try to upgrade their Lowrider rides at Benny's Original Motor Works, there is a 25-percent discount for base prices and upgrades for each day of the week. The discount deal started with Monday's Declasse Voodoo, Tuesday for Albany Primo and Wednesday for Albany Buccaneer. Meanwhile, players who go for purchase and upgrades this week can get three-fourths of the original price for a Declasse Moonbeam, as well as for its upgrades on Thursday and on a Vapid Chino on Friday. The discounted prices on Benny's will culminate on Saturday with 25 percent off on a Willard Faction.

Meanwhile, the Lowriders Week event is also extended for player RP and in-game cash. All day this week, there is a unique Event Playlist that will be scattered all throughout Los Santos, and each mission can net twice the amount of dollars and reputation points as normal. In addition, there will also be a new mission involving Lamar in Contact Missions, and the new one will also have double the rewards when accomplished on Saturday. Rounding off the double rewards will be four new Adversary Modes added on Sunday.

Aside from the rewards, there will also be collectible hats to be given away per day of the week. Each hat will be given per day only, and each day will have unique hats per player.

The Lowriders Week will end on Nov. 20 with a special livestream on official Rockstar social pages starting on 5 p.m. ET.
