Golden State Warriors trade rumors: Draymond Green being traded to the Pelicans? Spurs eyeing Stephen Curry

After scoring one of the biggest gains of the trade season this year when they signed free agent Kevin Durant, the Golden State Warriors seems like its not yet done shuffling its line up to recover the title from last season's champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

According to reports, power forward Draymond Green is being eyed by the New Orleans Pelicans to beef up their roster and the team is willing to trade their best asset to get Green on the team.

The Warriors' openness to trading Green seems to stem from several issues the NBA star has been having on and off court including an altercation he had with LeBron James during the finals which resulted in his eventual suspension for one game and most recently, sending a snap of his private parts on the social media app Snapchat.

On paper, Davis seems like he could produce the better stats, but he has yet to complete a full season because he is injury prone.

Another report hinted that the Warriors considering Karl Anthony Towns for the trade instead.

"I want to tell Draymond Green to consider this as a warning. If you continue to tread on this path, the Warriors would turn you on in the blink of an eye. At the end of the day, any organization that believes you are compromising their money and bottom line because of image issues ultimately will turn on you if you're not careful," ESPN sports analyst Stephen Smith said in his First Take show.

Meanwhile, talks are also rife that the Spurs are planning to go hard on courting Stephen Curry when the Warriors' star player becomes a free agent next summer.

According to a report by Centrio Times, the Spurs are banking on the possibility that Durant's entry to the team will create a stressful relationship on the floor.
