Is the title for the final episode of 'Girl Meets World" season 3 an indication that the Disney Channel is ready to bid goodbye to the successful coming of age show headlined by Rowan Blanchard (Riley) and Sabrina Carpenter (Maya)?

It has been reported by Game and Guide that the titles for the last few episodes of season 3 have been revealed, and that the final episode is entitled "Goodbye." Other titles include "World Of Terror 3," "Her Monster," "Hollyworld," "A Christmas Maya," "World Meets Girl," and "Sweet 16."

It did not help that cast member August Maturo tweeted: "Not ready for goodbye," quoting the tweet from the Girl Meets World Writers account. This fueled fans' speculations that Disney has no interest to continue Riley and Maya's journey beyond high school.

"I know as much as you do. We are hoping for a Season 4, obviously, because we want to continue our story, and I feel like it's an important story to tell. But as of right now, we just finished [filming] Season 3 and we're still waiting on the word," Blanchard said in an interview.

Further fueling speculation that the series is about to end is news that Blanchard has been cast in the latest film adaptation of Madeline L'Engle's book "A Wrinkle in Time," and Carpenter's steadily filling up schedule owing to the release of her album.

Carpenter recently released her "Evolution" album and kicked off her concert tour last month. Based on the young star's website, Carpenter is booked straight through November and December for performances all over the United States to promote her music.

While earlier seasons tackled the love triangle between Lucas (Peyton Meyer), Riley, and Maya, it has been rumored that should the series continue beyond a third season, "Girl Meets World" could introduce a new love triangle for Maya, this time involving her long time crush Jake (Joshua Matthews) and her good friend Zay (Amir Mitchell-Townes).
