The upcoming episode of "Girl Meets World" season 2 will air this week and it's called "Girl Meets Farkle." It was originally titled "Girl Meets I Am Farkle," as pointed out by Carter Matt, but it still has the same theme: Farkle's struggle to discover his true self.

In this episode, it will be revealed that Farkle Minkus may have Asperger's Syndrome, a disorder that has something to do with autism. As he attempts to accept this, Maya and Lucas stay by his side to give him support and strength and remind him, as the synopsis describes, the beauty of being unique.

Helping them out are Farkle's parents, Stuart and Jennifer. What this means is that the former, who starred in the '90s show "Boy Meets World," will make an appearance in the current show. The previous episodes of "Girl Meets World" already featured characters from its parent series.

It was also confirmed by the show's writers via Twitter that Zay Babineaux will be in the show more often and said that the character will "comment on everything." They tweeted that Lucas, Farkle and Babineaux will be "a strong part of the upcoming episodes."

Meanwhile, Farkle's newfound friend Smackle will also lend a hand. The synopsis for this episode reveals that their friendship will "grow fonder." Fans may have already known that Smackle is also seen as a love interest for Farkle and this might also give way to the unfolding of that aspect.

But according to Carter Matt, this installment will mainly be about providing more information about Asperger's syndrome and the publication expects that it will end with an important message about the condition. As the episode was being developed, multiple experts came in so that the show will stay true to its focus.

"Girl Meets World" season 2 episode 15 "Girl Meets Farkle" will air Sept. 11.
