Hardcore gamers are in for some good news for the coming gamescom event in August, as Ubisoft announced it will be previewing playable demos of some of its biggest upcoming releases.

On its official company blog, the gaming industry bigwig announced that they will be bringing playable demos of some of their biggest upcoming title releases. Most notable among the impressive games list is the preview for the upcoming new addition to the "Assassin's Creed" franchise, "Syndicate." The demo version will have players take control of Evie Frye, one of the two main protagonists of the title.

In addition to "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate," those who are into first-person shooters will also get the chance to witness how the gameplay looks for the company's upcoming addition to its "Rainbow Six" franchise. Ubisoft has organized four teams in 5v5 match-ups for a demo play on the upcoming "Rainbow Six Siege" multiplayer shooter.

Other presentations for Ubisoft's upcoming games lineup include multiplayer battle for "For Honor" and "The Division." Meanwhile, attendees can also sample for themselves some hands-on demos for "Might & Magic Heroes VII," "Trackmania Turbo," and "Anno 2205," or check out the publisher's virtual reality take via "Rabbids Virtual Reality Ride."

This will be the first time that Ubisoft, which is known for some of the biggest game releases, will be opening a games event with playable demos as part of the company's presentation. According to Alain Corre, EMEA executive director at Ubisoft, this will make gathering feedback before releasing titles much more streamlined.

He stated, "Understanding players' initial thoughts and reactions to the games we're developing is incredibly important, and by making the Ubisoft games at Gamescom playable, we're hoping that attendees will have a much more interactive and memorable experience and that their feedback will be even more applicable to our creative teams."

Gamescom 2015 will be held from August 5 to 9 in Cologne, Germany.
