'Frozen 2' movie plot spoilers: A new villain headed to Arendelle

Characters from the Disney film "Frozen"

The sequel to the hit Disney movie "Frozen" has already been confirmed and fans of the film have been speculating on what the installment will be about this time.

In the latest round of rumors, Disney fans are saying that since "Frozen" focused on Elsa and her power of ice, a new villain will make its way to Arendelle with an opposite power – that of mastery over fire. In addition, it is also speculated that Prince Hans, now a changed man, will again return in the sequel and would try to win Queen Elsa's heart. Also, Hans will reportedly help Elsa and Anna fend off attacks from the new villain.

The new film will focus on which would be stronger, ice or fire, and how one can overcome struggles and make a change.

Meanwhile, it is also reported that aside from a new villain and a returning character, the new film may also mirror that of another film. According to Yibada, the next "Frozen" movie could be likened to the story in "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," in which the central characters manage to change themselves and channel that power and succeed in also changing others for the better.

Many speculations have surfaced regarding the upcoming Disney film, and producers are reportedly worried about the pressure of making the second film as successful as the first. The first "Frozen" was so successful that it became the fifth highest-grossing film in box office history, alongside the second part of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," the first "Avengers" film, James Cameron's "Titanic," and "Avatar."

Additionally, the first film also won two Oscars in March last year, as the best animated feature and best original song for the popular and catchy "Let It Go," sung by Idina Menzel in the movie.
