With fans still waiting for the sequel of the highly acclaimed "Frozen" movie, rumors of it getting released by 2018 are getting stronger. Regardless, after the Frozen Holiday TV special on ABC, fans are expecting more details about it.

According to the sources cited by the Ecumenical News, this upcoming holiday special is used in order to generate more interest in the movie once again. However, it is still unknown how this TV special will accomplish such feat. After all, it is still unclear how the stories of the "Frozen Holiday TV Special" and subsequently "Frozen 2" will pan out, since Disney has not even announced any definite release date for the latter.

However, rumors of it getting released on 2018 are getting stronger and more evident. But then again, the only reason why fans still believe that it is getting released, despite the overwhelming hush from Disney, is that Idina Menzel, the voice actress of the main protagonist of the first "Frozen" movie as well as its animated short, Elsa, says in an interview with E! News back in June that they are in the story-writing part of production, with the team working on it and that she thinks she is part of it.

Of course, while this is not a definite confirmation for the production of a "Frozen" sequel, it still of course gave way to the rumors of Elsa dying in the sequel. The reason for this is that Menzel also jokingly said in her statement that unless Elsa meets some terrible accident, such as falling off a cliff, in the first five minutes of the movie, she will still be part of the movie's cast.

Regardless of whether or not "Frozen 2" will be released, rumors of confirming or denying its existence will pop up everywhere unless Disney itself confirms it.
