Frank Ocean 2016 album release date: Release date delayed to November 13; Fans flood twitter with memes and jokes

At least fans of Frank Ocean aren't up in arms over news of delay in the release of the artist's sophomore album Boys Don't Cry.

After hoping fervently for a August release, fans were disappointed to learn that the follow up to Ocean's 2012 Grammy winning album "Channel Orange" has been delayed anew.

The release date of the album is now listed as November 13, 2016 so fans have a couple of months left to either feel excited about or dread another delay as the date was released only on the artist's website and not in the form of an official announcement, reported NY Daily News.

Instead of venting their frustration on threads and forums, Ocean's fans took to twitter to poke fun at the delay. From witty quips to memes, the fans cannot be stopped from having their twitter party.

No Frank Ocean album yet but it looks like the tracklist finally leaked, one said, accompanied with an image of a tracklist that had titles like Sike, You Thought, Not Happening, I Ain't Got No Album, among other hilarious titles.

The only thing Frank Ocean is dropping is our hopes, another said.

USA Today even ran a special feature on the four stages of grief from waiting for his album.

The first on the list is skepticism where fans aren't so quick to believe that the album will really come out on the date promised.

Insanity comes next as the wait drives the fans nuts. Hopelessness, on the other hand, springs from repeatedly being disappointed by the delays. Bitterness describes fans who have been disillusioned by Frank's promises.
