'Forza Motorsport 6' Xbox One: 'Fast & Furious' DLC bundled with Deluxe and Ultimate Editions

 Microsoft

Fans of the upcoming racing sim "Forza Motorsport 6" will be surprised to know that aside from the close-to-real-world cars that they can drive and customize in the game, there will be additional vehicles that will be unlocked soon. What is more surprising is that the additional cars will seem familiar to car enthusiasts and movie buffs alike – the new content will come from the hugely-popular and smash hit "Fast & Furious" franchise.

According to Microsoft and developer Turn 10, "Forza Motorsport 6" will get an additional 11 cars, with the vehicles taken from the different movies under the "Fast & Furious" series of films. The new expansion pack will be bundled with the game's Deluxe and Ultimate Editions, which can already be purchased by avid fans via pre-order. The Deluxe Edition of "Forza Motorsport 6" is available for $79.99, while the premium Ultimate Edition can be bought for $99.99.

In addition, buyers of the Ultimate Edition will also get early access to the title as it will be unlocked five days early, on Sept. 10.

Included in the "Fast & Furious" DLC pack is a mix of both classic and turbocharged cars from the films, ranging from the 1969 classic Dodge Charger, to last year's edition of the Terradyne Gurkha armored monster featured first in "Fast Five." The pack will also include Paul Walker's iconic ride in the series, the 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R.

For those who cannot wait to sample the cars from the movie, they can get the current "Forza" title featuring a collaboration with the franchise – a standalone game called "Forza Horizon 2: Fast & Furious." This is part of Microsoft and Universal Pictures' promo for the "Furious 7" movie earlier this year, featuring different cars from the film. The game is currently available for $10.

"Forza Motorsport 6" will arrive for the Xbox One on Sept. 15.
