The rebranded "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" is set to receive a new DLC, "Imperial City." Prior to its release, developer Zenimax Studios has published an online guide for all the upcoming new areas in the realm.

The "Imperial City" expansion pack will open four general areas to players: the different districts in the city; new dungeons; the Imperial Sewers; and bases for the three game factions.

The districts themselves are massive enough that they have been divided into six areas, with each area having specific bosses and loot rewards. For example, in the Arboretum district, players will encounter a Spider Daedra and have the chance to receive item loot in the Arboretum crafting hub and the Clawed Trophy Vault. Meanwhile, other districts also have their own roaming bosses and item rewards such as the Immolator Char for the Arena; Zoal the Ever-Wakeful from the Elven Gardens; an Atronach on the Memorial District; Baron Thirsk on the Nobles; and a Flesh Atronach in the Temple District.

Those who are looking for rarer items and loot rewards may also explore two new dungeons in the expansion. Both the Imperial City Prison and White-Gold Tower offer challenges to players, and groups of three or a lone player can take on the Daedra and discover the two dungeons on Normal mode for rare loot rewards. Players who want rarer items can enter under the Veteran mode and increase their chances of snagging Veteran Rank 16 rewards.

Aside from the new areas and rare items, the new expansion will also unlock other points of interest in "The Elder Scrolls Online" world, including new ruins, caves, and special exclusive events.

The "Imperial City" expansion DLC will roll out to players of "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" on Aug. 31.
