The rebranded "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" massive online RPG will get its first expansion by the end of next month.
According to publisher Bethesda, the expansion, "Imperial City," is set to introduce new content and improvements to the game. The first DLC is set to add new quests and characters within the Imperial City, which can only be accessed by players that are level 10 and above. New features for the expansion will be a new PvP and PvE space among the newly-opened six Imperial City Districts, which include one Imperial City public PvP Dungeon located in the Imperial Sewers; and two new PvE group dungeons, the Imperial City Prison and White-Gold Tower. These two new dungeons will be available for both Normal and Veteran versions.
In addition to new locations, there will also be 23 new Veteran Rank 16 item sets that are exclusive to the Imperial City, together with new Treasure Vaults with the same Veteran Rank set jewelry, and in some cases, even rare and exotic items.
The "Imperial City" DLC will also introduce the Tel Var Stone system, Xivkyn racial motif style, and a number of costume, pets, polymorphs, and other collectible items.
Aside from the new expansion, developer ZeniMax is also targeting for a major update to be rolled out for the base game together with the "Imperial City" DLC. This patch is set to address numerous game improvements and glitch fixes, and also additional content meant for all "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" players.
The new expansion is set to be released first on the PC, with a roll out date of Aug. 31. Meanwhile, the console versions of the title will receive their updates the month after, with the Xbox One version reportedly getting the new DLC on Sept. 15, followed by the newly-released PS4 version on Sept. 16.
