The annual Electronic Entertainment Expo is one of the biggest industry events in the gaming world. In this convention, most of the gaming bigwigs and tech giants showcase their upcoming projects and deluge fans with teaser announcement, trailers, and details about much-anticipated and talked-about games.

For this year's E3 event, what were some of the confirmed blockbuster titles that fans appreciated?

"Doom" and "Fallout 4" from Bethesda

Publisher and developer Bethesda's double announcements kicked off fan frenzy at this year's E3. Following up on their pre-E3 reveal, Bethesda provided details about the upcoming new installment in the highly-regarded "Fallout" series.

In addition to "Fallout 4," the company also provided teasers for an upcoming "Doom" reboot, complete with enhanced graphics, tweaked design, and updated gameplay.

"Mass Effect Andromeda"

Fans asking Electronic Arts about a new title under the smash hit "Mass Effect" franchise were not disappointed, as EA showcased a teaser video for the upcoming "Mass Effect Andromeda" game. While it is true that the two-minute footage lacked details, it seems that fans are contented to know that a new "Mass Effect" title is already confirmed to be in the works. In addition, EA fans might have already understood that the company is focusing instead on the imminent release of the DICE-collaborated work "Star Wars Battlefront."

"The Last Guardian"

One of the titles that Sony fans have been waiting for, "The Last Guardian" finally made an appearance at this year's E3. Already confirmed for the PS4, Sony has reported that the game is still in development but already seeing its finish.

"FF7 Remake" and "Kingdom Hearts 3"

Square Enix released gameplay footage of the much-awaited "Kingdom Hearts 3" title during its E3 presentation. With the visually-appealing look of cut-scenes and the fluidity of gameplay, the title looks stunning. However, Square Enix's biggest gun is the announcement for a new "Final Fantasy VII" in development. Judging from its "Remake" title, this "Final Fantasy" game seems to be a whole new take to the seventh installment, rather than a reboot.
