'Dragon Ball Z: Ressurection F' U.S. release date: movie now screening in select theaters, more teasers out

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F Toei Animation

Prior to the release of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'" in select cinemas in the U.S., teasers were released to build up more hype and excitement.

One action-packed clip for the movie features Krillin, who surprisingly has hair, as he nabs two bank robbers after a hot, fast-paced pursuit. In the middle of his bust, Krillin receives bad news via a phone call from Bulma, who informs the strict police officer that Frieza has come back to life, which is, of course, the premise of the movie. The unabridged preview is 2.5 minutes long.

Apart from the mention of the supervillain's resurrection, the footage also gives fans a comprehensive look at the animation and the English dubbing for "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'," which is now screening in handpicked theaters.

At the premiere of the film, Funimation Entertainment, the company in charge of distributing the film in the U.S., released two more teasers for the Frieza Force campaign. The newer clip showcases Vegeta and Goku head-butting each other while the other video features Piccolo.

Meanwhile, "Pledge of 'Z'," the English version of the theme song performed by Momoiro Clover Z, is now available on iTunes Store as well as on Apple Music and Spotify in 120 countries. The Japanese version titled "'Z' no Chikai" is included as well.

According to Anime News Network, the package also has the cover version of "Cha-La Head-Cha-La," the original "Dragon Ball Z" anime opening theme, "Romantic Kongaragatteru," and all instrumental versions of the aforementioned songs.

"Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'," whose concept, screenplay and character designs were developed by original manga series creator Akira Toriyama, will be shown until Aug. 12. The official "Dragon Ball Z" website lists down the theaters screening the film. Tickets can be secured from there, too.
