There have been a lot of revelations in the latest episode of the highly popular anime television series "Dragon Ball Super" as the origins of Black Goku has finally been laid out. Fans, of course, were shocked to discover that Black Goku is actually Zamasu, who now inhabits the body of the real Son Goku in their timeline.

Fans previously thought that Black Goku may have been a clone that Zamasu had wished for when he found all the Super Dragon Balls. That apparently is not the case, as Zamasu had actually wished to exchange bodies with the Goku of his timeline. It was also later revealed that Zamasu had already destroyed the real Son Goku of their timeline.

The explanation itself then made sense to the group as they did notice that the Zamasu from the different timeline and Black Goku actually used the same techniques, including their energy blade attack, and both have the same Ki Aura.

The next episode — episode 61 — will delve further into both Zamasu's plans as they finally reveal the true meaning of their mysterious "0 Mortals Plan." Zamasu will reportedly explain his twisted reasoning behind his plan of getting rid of all the mortals in the universe in order to fully wipe out evil from existence.

According to reports, an epic battle is going to be taking place as the two Zamasus will be taking on the Super Saiyan heroes in an all-out battle royal. There are also rumors that Black Goku might transform into an entirely different Super Saiyan form, now rumored to be Super Saiyan Green.

Other reports also speculate that it might be possible for Zamasu and Black Goku to perform a fusion technique which will result in them becoming an unbelievably powerful being. None of the speculations have been confirmed yet, so it still remains to be seen if any of them will turn out to be true.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 61 — titled "Zamasu's Ambition: Presenting the Terrifying 0 Mortals Plan" — will be airing this Sunday, Oct. 9, at 9 a.m. JST on Fuji TV.
