"Dragon Ball Super," the continuation to the long-running anime adaptation of Akira Toriyama's much-loved "Dragon Ball" franchise, recently concluded its 13th episode. In the chapter, the battle between god of destruction Beerus and Goku as the Super Saiyan god, was nearing its conclusion.
In the episode, Goku and Beerus continued to fight, with Earth at stake – Beerus had promised to spare the world if Goku won. However, it seemed that the Super Saiyan god powers can only be used for a time, and Goku had reached his limit. However, this did not prevent him from fighting, and Beerus discovered that instead of the Super Saiyan god powers dissipating completely, it seemed that it merged with Goku's own powers.
Meanwhile, in the continuation of the series, the battle will reach its climax, with episode 14 entitled "Conclusion! The Battle of Gods!" In a preview video for the upcoming chapter, Goku and Beerus continue to brawl and then ready their super attacks. Beerus is seen preparing his destruction blast, while Goku is readying to counter it with his Kamehameha.
The next episode will be aired on Oct. 11 on Japanese Fuji TV. Meanwhile, an upcoming issue of a Japanese magazine listed down the stories behind the next episodes up to episode 20.
